Why Stitch.

Stitch was founded in 2019 with a simple thesis. Advertising and marketing technology was getting more powerful every year, but the gap between what was possible and what most brands were doing was getting bigger, not smaller. Closing that gap is the whole business.

The consultancy we wished existed.

We started Stitch because marketing teams kept telling us the same thing. The data was a mess, the tools did not talk to each other, and nobody could prove what was working. So we built the consultancy we wished existed: independent, technically deep, and willing to measure the things that actually matter.

Today Stitch is the consultancy joining media, advertising, adtech, martech and customer data infrastructure into one team. Clients across Oceania, North America, the Middle East and Europe. The thesis still holds.

Data Inspired Marketing is the practice of connecting customer data to commercial outcomes, by stitching together every signal a customer leaves behind into a view we can act on. It is what the rest of the site demonstrates.

Interactive Advertising Bureau New Zealand. Stitch leads the working group on AI, agentic systems and the future of measurement in advertising, within the IAB's Emerging Technology Council.

Independent Media Agencies New Zealand. Stitch is one of the founding agency members of IMANZ, the industry body representing New Zealand's independent media and martech agencies.

University of Auckland

Stitch delivers guest lectures regularly at the University of Auckland on customer data, agentic AI and the future of marketing operations.

The team runs on agentic AI. Internally. In production.

Stitch operates an agentic AI layer across delivery, strategy, analysis and client work. MCP server integrations connect the team's AI tooling directly to the platforms we run for clients every day, including Tealium, Customer.io, Braze, Jira, Slack and Google Workspace, as well as the paid media stack across Meta, Google Ads and Google Analytics.

What that means for clients: faster cycles, more strategic depth per hour billed, and a partner already living in the operating model the rest of the industry is still talking about. We have presented this work publicly at the Marketing Association's Brainy Breakfast on agentic AI and at the University of Auckland's panel on AI and the future of work.

We do not believe AI replaces the work. We believe it raises the floor on the work, so the team can spend its time on the parts that compound.
