RealNZ

Five platforms collapsed into one customer view.

Real NZ is the portfolio of New Zealand tourism brands across Tourism, Skiing, accommodation, network and agent bookings.

Read the story

Background

Real NZ is the portfolio of New Zealand tourism brands: Tourism, Skiing (Treble Cone, Cardrona), accommodation, network and agent bookings. Owned brands include realnz.com, treblecone.com and cardrona.com.

The problem

Customer profile data sat in silos across Tourism bookings, Skiing bookings, agent bookings, service centres, owned websites, Silverstripe, and the third-party platforms FareHarbor (tourism) and Aspenware (skiing). No unified customer view, no consistent audience optimisation, no defensible attribution across the portfolio.

The solution

Tealium sits at the centre with a master unified data layer holding profile and unified consent across all owned and third-party data sources. HTTP API and webhook integrations span Real NZ's three brand sites and the two third-party booking platforms.

Audience and event activation reaches Meta, Google Data Studio, Salesforce Sales Cloud, SproutSocial, ActiveCampaign, Optimizely, Olark, Hotjar and Delighted. Two-way data warehouse sync runs into Microsoft Azure and Power BI.

Closing

Five platforms in, one customer out. The before-and-after of CDP work made tangible.
